Beth has a natural flair for the job and she is highly creative. She replaced the flagstone on my fireplace, covered it over and did a spectacular ‘faux brick’ design, that even till today, most people think it’s real brick.

With over 37 years in the decorative painting and interior design field Beth Halstead, owner of The Studio of Halstead & Company, is still inspired by the opportunities new projects present. Halstead & Company provides extraordinary plaster finishes, custom handpainted designs that emulate wallpaper, faux interpretations of natural elements such as wood, marble, metals and sky as well as silver, gold and copper leafing. Murals are a speciality. Inspired by travel, Beth infuses projects with worldly sophistication and has been featured in print through Style at Home, Chatelaine, Canadian Living and on television through CityLine, Design for Living, This Small Space and Home To Go.
